To determine not only if the person or family is experiencing abuse but also to address emotional, physical, spiritual, and social needs as well
REFERAL
Is made when appropiate, to allow persons to the their needs. Human Services, Inc. strives to maintain a working network of commununity , regional, and state resources to make available a full continuum of care.
INTEVENTION THERAPIES
Is available with trained staff members. When a family member's substance abuse is causing problems. Often that person cannot recognize it, so intervention allows that person to face the problem with love and support. The addiction cycle has been broken for many families by utilization of these processes. It can stop even greater suffering by addressing the problem and turning the family toward the process of recovery.
THERAPIES
Include, Individual and group counceling, educational lectures, films, and handouts. Family sessions and continued care are also available. To provide a therapeutic atmosphere in which change and responsible behavior becomes attainable goals, persons are treated with dignity and respect by staff and peers. Effective communications, values, clarification, decision making, and positive affirmation are some of the areas concentrated on.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Is also available to educate and inform the civic organizations, schools, law enforcement and the community at large, about the affects of substance abuse.
SOCIAL SETTING DETOX
Is available to those who are withdrawing from alcohol, or certain drugs. Staff provides monitering for a safe non-medical detoxification from chemical use with care planning and referral.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Is available for those who have established a chemically free recovery program but need assistance with service and support necessary to maximize the clients quality of life chemically free, live successfully within their community and facilitate communication/coordination between providers and clients. On-call access to services is available to the client 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
Many major insurance companies do cover many of the services provided, however, in all cases the final responsibility for charges incurred for services lies with the client. Human Services, Inc. does maintain a sliding fee scale for those, whose income meet the financial guidelines.
